About Dro Ameh Ujah

Some build without the limelight — quietly shaping brands, platforms, and movements that redefine industries.

Ameh Ujah is one of them.

A strategist at the intersection of growth, marketing, and human experience, Ameh has been a driving force in Africa’s creative and digital landscape since 2009. His career spans media, technology, non-profit, and professional services — helping to build and transform some of the continent’s most recognisable brands.

He began his journey as the visionary behind Questionmark Magazine, one of Nigeria’s pioneering online entertainment publications, before leading digital, projects, and communications at Consolidated Media Associates Group (now Group8) — the powerhouse behind Soundcity, Spice TV, X100, Made in Lagos Festival, PAPI App, StarBet, and ONTV. During this time, he also contributed to AfricanHiphop.com, NET, Soundcity Blast Magazine, Daily Times, 234Next, and TheCable Newspaper, documenting the rise of Nigeria’s pop culture and music scene.

Ameh produced the acclaimed documentary on the life and legacy of late Nigerian rap icon Da Grin, a cultural milestone that captured a pivotal moment in Nigerian music history. A storyteller at heart, he continues to explore narrative and impact through podcasts, documentaries, and creative consulting.

Beyond media, Ameh has led brand, communications, and growth strategy for organisations such as the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Prospa (a YC-backed fintech), Sendy Fulfillment, FAMFA Oil Group, and the Rose of Sharon Foundation.

He currently serves as Head Coach at Stable Genius Limited/ZeitGeist Studio, Business Development and Branding Specialist at Aluko & Oyebode — one of Nigeria’s leading commercial law firms — and Marketing Specialist at Onafriq.com, the pan-African fintech conglomerate. Across these roles, Ameh drives initiatives that unify growth, brand, and stakeholder engagement — advancing Aluko & Oyebode’s thought leadership in Africa’s evolving legal and business landscape, while growing Onafriq’s B2B and agency banking footprint across the continent.

His social impact ventures include Roots & Wings: SS Parenting, a community for African parents raising children with sickle cell; DiabetEase, a digital health companion for Nigerians managing diabetes; ZEIT GEIST, a consulting studio, knowledge centre and journal and Eddys.NG, a celebrity chef-led culinary marketplace.

Guided by a belief that the most meaningful innovation happens where empathy, culture, and data meet execution, Ameh continues to shape how brands and communities connect — quietly, intentionally, and always with impact.

Impactful. Intentional. Behind the scenes, but always shaping what’s next.
